A half an hour? Well, sometimes I can do that on this blog, and my butterfly gardening blog. But not too often on the women's blog. That post today especially took me a long time - it took over 2 hours. But I watched most of a documentary about the topic on the PBS site and read a few pages about the topic elsewhere too. If I had done it faster I wouldn't have written something as good. I just have to start making sure that I sometimes write short, simpler posts so that I leave myself time for networking too. Brenda,

I wrote posts for a year before making ANY efforts to publicize my blog. (Then again I was finding my voice!) I also agree with your take on the time issue. When I first started I was told that I should be able to write a good post in half an hour. Not me! Let's just say it takes hours (plural)... then I have to let each post cool off for a day (or at least overnight) before I proof it. I guess I’m guilty of being an introverted blogger, too!
