Twitter - still trying to figure it out.
I did finally get around to reading all the posts about Twitter I had been collecting, and a few more. I even installed Twirl yesterday. But I have to say - I still don’t totally get it. I guess I mostly can’t figure out what I would say with it that anyone would care to hear.
I’ll keep watching on Twirl and maybe I’ll get the hang of it after a while. I’m thinking I may stop following some people though - its nothing personal - just more than I can keep up with.
One of the posts I read suggested having multiple accounts - I wish I had thought of that before. That could be helpful. I know different people from different contexts and some of them just would not be interested in things that people from other contexts would be.

Hi Trisha,
Thank you for the resource links to other posts on Twitter. Personally I haven’t joined Twitter….not sure if it would be a great benefit or just another distraction. Thanks for the tip that suggested having multiple accounts. This is particularly if you are targeting different markets.
A link you might find helpful is Ed Dale’s http://www.thirtydaychallenge.com/. Ed gives a step-by-step, of not only Twitter to help you profit online but to gain coverage for your blogs or sites. Really is amazing info that he gives away freely.

Thanks for the link - I will check that!
I think I am starting to get twitter now. I’m using it with Twirl. I don’t understand this ‘pausing’ thing it does though. I can see how it can be helpful. I think it is best not to follow too many people with it though. At least at first.
